The Ubiquiti USW-Pro-48 Cloud Managed 48 Port Gigabit Switch is a fully managed Layer 3 switch with forty-eight (48) Gigabit Ethernet ports. The four (4) 10G SFP+ uplinks offer link aggregation for higher capacity and increased availability. The USW-Pro-48 features a rich set of Layer 2 capabilities and integrates Layer 3 functionality such as inter-VLAN routing, static routing, and DHCP server.

The USW-Pro-48 is an ideal aggregation and access layer switch for any UniFi solution – it combines innovative near-silent cooling with UniFi SmartPower RPS power redundancy (sold separately). UniFi Network Controller and UniFi Network mobile app allow admins to configure and monitor virtually all of the switch features in an intuitive graphical user interface from anywhere.

The passive cooling design allows the UniFi USW-Pro-48 Switch to be located in any workspace. SFP+ ports enable high-capacity uplinks of up to 10 Gbps, so you can directly connect to a high-performance storage server or deploy a long-distance uplink to another switch. In addition to Layer 2 switching protocols and features, the UniFi USW-Pro-48 Switch offers Layer 3 capabilities, such as inter-VLAN routing, static routing, and DHCP server functionality. The USW-Pro-48 offers the forwarding capacity to simultaneously process traffic on all ports at line rate without any packet loss.

The UniFi USW-Pro-48 Switch supports Ubiquiti’s PSU failover system, the UniFi SmartPower RPS (sold separately). If the internal power supply unit fails, the proprietary USP-RPS interface acts to provide redundant power for backup. The UniFi Network Controller can provision UniFi devices, map out networks, and quickly manage system traffic. Important network details are logically organized for a simplified, yet powerful, interface. From a single pane of glass, view network topology and configuration, real-time statistics, and debugging metrics. Monitor your network’s vitals and make on-the-fly adjustments as needed. Ubiquiti’s proprietary Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) engine includes the latest application identification signatures to track which applications (and IP addresses) are using the most bandwidth.

The UniFi Network Controller provides configurable reporting and analytics to manage large user populations and expedite troubleshooting. Advanced search and sorting capabilities make network management more efficient.A single controller running in the cloud can manage multiple sites: multiple, distributed deployments and multi-tenancy for managed service providers. Each site is logically separated and has its own configuration, maps, statistics, guest portal, and administrator accounts.
